Emily has been practicing yoga for over 10 years. She has studied many varieties of yoga including the Hatha, Ashtanga and Iyengar methods. Through her own practice Emily has developed as a teacher who can lead a student deeper into postures through proper alignment, body awareness, and breath. Emily takes time to ensure each student understands the fundamentals of posture, building strength in the body and steadiness in the mind over time. As a dedicated yoga student herself, Emily maintains a beginners attitude, knowing the study of yoga is never ending! Her easy going nature will make you feel comfortable and open as you begin or continue on your yoga journey.
