A bi-weekly, non-profit public market and food service run by students and members of the NSCC Waterfront Campus Community. Distributing local, organic and spray free produce from Nova Scotia and supporting small farms when possible. This project aims to make farm fresh produce available and accessible to Waterfront students, while also educating youth on the importance of shopping local and supporting small farms.
The market will also highlight sustainable small businesses, and offer a chance for student’s to test market their own sustainable businesses.
