Believing in the spiritual nature of the universe and deriving inspiration therefrom, the Regina Multi-Faith Forum shall promote among society at large the understanding, appreciation and acceptance of the diverse religious communities living in Regina and surrounding communities and to work for a just and peaceful society. The Forum shall strive to moderate and eliminate prejudices that hinder the development of a just and harmonious society. The principles of mutual respect, inclusiveness, openness and consensus shall guide Forum functions.
The Regina Multi-Faith Forum shall be an organization through which individuals have an opportunity to become acquainted with people of different religions, to learn about the religious beliefs and practices of different religious groups, to pray together in their own unique ways for a common cause, and, where possible and desirable, to initiate and carry out actions and activities that will promote understanding and co-operation in the broader community.
Membership in the Regina Multi-Faith Forum is open to well-established groups and religious organizations, and individuals that subscribe to the Forum’s purpose and principles.
Each member group and organization may appoint two representatives to the Regina Multi-Faith Forum.
