Pearson College UWC, one of 17 United World Colleges around the world, annually hosts up to 200 students from more than 100 countries. Students live, study and grow together during a two-year program (grade 12 and gap year) on a campus adjacent to Pedder Bay on the traditional territory of the Scia'new (Beecher Bay) First Nation on southern Vancouver Island, Canada. Created as a living legacy to Nobel Peace Price laureate (1957) and former Canadian Prime Minister Lester B. Pearson, the College makes education a force to unite people, nations and cultures for peace and a sustainable future.
