The Mac’s AAA Midget World Invitational Hockey Tournament is an annual seven day event.
Twenty-five male and 15 female teams from across Canada, the United States and Europe visit Calgary, AB for a chance at the title.
The tournament's reputation began in 1976. From boxing day to New Year's day, about 100,000 visitors will check in at the Max Bell Centre, Father David Bauer Olympic Arena and Flames Community Arenas.
Many of its players will witness the largest crowds of their current careers. Championship games, at the Scotiabank Saddledome, see as many as 10,000 spectators.
Visit the Max Bell Centre's "Wall Of Fame" to view the names and photos of Mac's AAA Midget World Invitational Hockey Tournament players that made it to the National Hockey League. A full list can also be found on our website.
