The Community Centre proper received a complete redevelopment from 1998-1999, allowing the facility to expand its services in offering a wide array of programs and activities to a growing community. The facility now boasts a full-sized gymnasium, two preschool/childcare spaces, martial arts room, dance studio, youth/adult lounge, commercial kitchen, computer lab, fitness centre and a variety of other multi-purpose rooms.

The new Killarney Leisure Pool opened in February 2006. This wheelchair accessible beach-style entry, fun-filled facility has magnificent views of the North Shore Mountains. Its amenities include; ozone treated water, giant water slide, warm water leisure pool with "spray/play" features for all ages, 15 metre lap tank, 25 metre lap pool with springboard and diving platform, large whirlpool, steam room and universal change room. This aquatic complex serves all Vancouver residents with public swim sessions offered throughout the day, as well as swimming lessons for all ages. Swim club, school and public rentals are also accommodated within the Pool's curriculum.

Killarney Rink officially re-opened in September 2010. Originally built as a Winter Olympic training facility legacy project, the Rink has now been converted to a standard-sized ice surface configuration to serve Vancouver residents. From September-March, the Rink offers public skating, special events, skate lessons for all ages and rental ice time for community-based sport groups and the general public. From April-August, the facility serves as a dry floor venue for community-based sport groups, special events, ball hockey and roller hockey rentals. The Killarney Rink also features four dressing rooms, two referees' rooms, bleacher seating for 250 spectators, a skate rental shop and a separate lobby area which is wheelchair accessible.
