Essential oils have been used for therapeutic and holistic health purposes throughout history to stimulate healing and enhance overall wellness. When incorporated into a yoga and meditation practice, essential oils can elevate awareness and provide a deeper connection through the senses. When used daily for home cleaning, body care, and wellness management essential oils can enhance overall well being.

Yoga and Oil Classes
Each monthly workshop will include an introduction to the use of essential oils and an explanation of the benefits of specific oils used throughout the class. doTERRA oils will be used throughout the practice via diffused aroma, internally by adding to water, and through application to the body.

Essential Oils 101
Each Essential Oils 101 Workshop includes an introduction to oils and usage, along with a review of the oils used in the workshop, and you leave with several DIY items based on each theme.

* Cleaning Up Your Cleaning - This workshop is focused on the use of essential oils in home cleaning. Popular alternatives for all-purpose cleaner, window cleaner, floor cleaner and bathroom/kitchen scrub will be explored. You will also leave with recipes and resources for other household cleaners such as carpet deodorizer, toilet bowl cleaner and oven cleaner.

* Everyday Wellness - In this workshop we will review the use of oils and how to use them everyday from diffusing, to applying topically, to ingesting for physical, mental and emotional well being including common issues such as stress, digestion and sleep.

* Summer Survival - The summer months are a wonderful time of the year but with this workshop you will be ready for sun care, keeping away the bugs, keeping your hair full of moisture, getting perfect beach waves, staying cool and dry, and avoiding chapped lips; all naturally of course.

* Radiant Beauty - You'll be glowing, radiant and down right beautiful with this workshop focused on using essential oils for beauty and skincare. From luxurious bath and shower products, to nourishment for your skin and face, to body care; you'll feel pampered and well taken care of.


Your Teachers

Christa Steeves - Well Being: Soul Guidance & Yoga Lifestyle

Christa is a marketing and communications strategist, yogi, lifestyle and soul guidance coach, meditator, teacher and mom. Drawing on life experience, years of life “coaching” (team members, family, friends and even strangers), life coaching certification, yoga teacher training (certification in late 2016), meditation teacher training along with energy healing training and Reiki studies; Christa helps people see they have the intuition and answers for wellbeing within. Christa creates an environment of support for people like you to create wellbeing by focusing on yourself; what feeds your mind, heals your spirit, and nourishes your body. Using the Well Being Wheel, from physical and mental well being to spiritual and relational health, Christa helps people to live a life of truth, love, joy, and wellbeing. Christa feels blessed to live in an estrogen-filled downtown home in North America’s easternmost city with her two girls (aged 9 and 12), two cats (one on lend to a neighbour), dog, and a very patient hubby. Her oldest daughter (22) visits often to raid the fridge and enjoy a cup of tea. Christa truly enjoys the little things because they are the big things, is soaking in the journey, and loves living colourfully everyday while eating well, drinking her green juice, downward-dogging, running, hiking and hitting the gym (not all at the same time!).
