Glen Abbey Vision Centre continues to grow since opening in 1985, and happily offers a full range of services for patients of all ages.
Comprehensive eye exams are just the beginning. Glen Abbey Vision Centre offers full spectacle services; a selection of glasses and sunglasses for your convenience; a wide variety of contacts lenses and fittings; laser surgery co-management; digital imaging of the retina to monitor the ongoing health of your eye; and corneal pachymetry.
Dr Wheeler, Dr Medunic and our expertly trained staff, believe in personal service to meet your needs for eye support, and manage your treatment and prevention of your vision related health concerns. You will find Janet or Lydia at the front desk when you arrive ready to answer your questions in person or on the phone. Janet will help you with repairs or frame selections. Janet and Lydia have completed the specialized training and will operate the digital imaging system for your retinal exam.
Eyes examinations should start at age three or before. Glen Abbey Vision Centre is a provider of the “Eye See, Eye Learn” programme. Annual checking during school years is essential to guarantee the best visual learning potential of each child and to monitor difficulties. Adults should be seen regularly once, every one or two years depending on medical health. Seniors are at greater risk for eye health issues so should have a full eye exam annually.
