CCDA Downtown Medicine Hat 3.07

Welcome to the City of Medicine Hat, City Centre Development Agency.

We are Medicine Hat's (Downtown) Business Revitalization Zone (BRZ). The CCDA board of directors work together to come up with promotional ideas that will draw people down to the City Core as well as researching new opportunities for investment and development to better our downtown. We also put on special events.

From business to pleasure, our downtown has it covered! There is a great variety of retail stores. On the professional front we have banks, law firms, the Court House, accountants, brokers, dentists, doctors, , City Hall, the Chamber of Commerce, employment services, government offices, non-profits, the Esplanade Arts and Heritage Theatre and last but not least the public library.

Socially we have pubs to restaurants, a growing coffee shop culture with a number of cafes all of these at some point offer entertainment as well as impeccable customer service.

We are lucky also to have two beautiful parks in the downtown core, Riverside Memorial park hosts a bandstand for outdoor concerts and is situated along the banks of the South Saskatchewan River. In the heart of downtown we have BATUS park, named to commemorate the unique bond that developed between the City of Medicine Hat and the British Army Training Unit Suffield. Both parks are wonderful locations for events and to just enjoy having your lunch with the kids during the summer.
