Andrew Daniels Fish Stewardship Foundation 2.18

Since 2004, the Andrew Daniels Fish Stewardship Foundation has been working to improve the fish habitat in Lake of Bays and to nurture our precious fish stocks. We have funded studies to analyze the condition of tributaries and other breeding grounds, raised money for shoreline preservation projects and donated time and resources to the physical stabilization of shoreline areas critical to the health of young fish. Through our efforts, we have also raised awareness among the Lake of Bays community of the importance of protecting the streams, shoreline and quality of water so generations to come will enjoy fishing at beautiful Lake of Bays.

This initiative was born out of the untimely death of 37 year old Andrew Daniels in 2004. He was our friend and an avid Lake of Bays fisherman.
