Hello! My name is Morgan Boucher and my passion lies with the healing arts and beauty. I would like to share with you why I am passionate about this industry.

I started practicing aesthetics at an extremely young age in a certain way. I grew up with cystic acne, which took its roots in my skin around the age of 8, lasting through to about 15 years old. I began wearing a full face of makeup around 11 years old and trying everything on the market at the time to try and fix my skin. I remember people looking at me and only seeing the poor skin condition, and not much past it. I felt beautiful on the inside, but no one chose to see past the breakouts. After exhausting everything that was somewhat safe for a child to use, I was eventually prescribed accutane, which took the acne away, but left me struggling with the after affects of such a harsh drug. I am happy that it cleared up my skin, and I am grateful because the way I looked in no way matched how I felt, but self-care and love was definitely a post-treatment requirement.

I love practicing aesthetics because it feels like self-love to me in many different ways. Through aesthetics I found Reiki and Access Consciousness, which soothe my body, mind and soul. As long as I feel healthy, nourished and happy, I believe, that beauty will flow through the soul into your physical appearance. Aesthetics help me embody that. I want to help people embody that for themselves as well.

I love to use Young Living essential oils. I love that essential oils soothe emotions and provide uplifting effects to moods while supporting the body in many different ways. I use essential oils in all of my skin care work. I also practice the Young Living Raindrop Technique, which is an extremely relaxing type of essential oil application that also works in traditional massage techniques.

I stumbled across Reiki while I was taking my aesthetic training, I knew right away that there was something about it. I was drawn to it, and I could feel it was essentially going to help change my life. It wasn't until I moved to Lethbridge, I began receiving treatments as well as practicing, and I knew it was something I wanted to add to my practice. I received my level two training in Lethbridge through Nirvana Energy healing.
