A to G is succeeding on its mission to bring both creative music exploration and solid lasting musical knowledge to individuals and families of all walks and sizes- especially kids.

A to G adds an element of colour to traditional methods of notation to better allow students to recognize the harder to recognize repeating pattens, and also to distinguish so often blended concepts from one another. A to G utilizes a macro perspective on music, reducing music theory to 5 extremely known and relatable Topics, posed as questions:

1. What? Example topics within this overarching category: Tones, Pitches, Melodies, Harmonies, Intervals, Direction...

2. Where? Positioning, Finger Numbers, Posture...

3. When? Timing, rhythm, durations, tempo marks, counting...

4. How? Accentuation, Volume, enhanced techniques, emotion...

5. Why? Why are you learning the piano?
